Step 1 - Casting a Life Vision

Let’s kick this process off with a little visioning exercise. Your life vision can be big, small, outrageous or pretty mainstream. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s meaningful for you. Have fun with this process!

Step 2 - Discover your Character Strengths

Once you have your results, click on the link below where you’ll see a list of the strengths. Please prioritize your results in the table provided. If you don’t want to enter all 24, just enter your top 6 strengths.

Step 3 - Discover your needs

Most of us go through life with unmet needs. In fact, we're often not even aware of what our core needs are!

In order to achieve our goals (without getting burned out or overwhelmed), we have to understand what we need to be a whole person so we can show up as our very best. Once we know our unique set of needs, we can do the work to start meeting them. Ensuring our needs are being met is the foundation of self-care, and self-worth.

The following assessment will help you uncover your core needs. Don't overthink this process. Just get centered, take a deep breath and check off anything that feels true to you. Please don't judge your choices. Needs are not bad or good. They just are. The more you can be honest with yourself, the deeper you'll go with this work.

Once you’ve completed the assessment, add up your check marks under each category. The areas where you scored the highest are your most prominent needs. Take a moment to reflect on what comes up, then answer the following questions to dive deeper into your results and how to use them.

Step 4 - Get Clear on Your Values

Your values are what you deem as being important. They are often aligned with needs, but they’re different in that a value is something that lights you up and you feel strongly about, whereas a need is something we require to function. Value is determined by the meaning that you attach to it. For example, I may value cars or in-person meetings, but I don’t need them.
